Product Type
Titanium tube material classification
Pure titanium tubes: with good corrosion resistance and light weight, they are widely used in chemical, marine and medical industries and are suitable for manufacturing heat exchangers, heating tubes, condenser tubes and so on.
Alloy Titanium Tubing: Compared to pure titanium tubing, alloy titanium tubing has higher strength and corrosion resistance, and is commonly used in oil fields, ships and high-strength industrial applications. Common titanium alloy tubes include:
TC4 alloy tubing: with higher strength and better corrosion resistance than pure titanium, it is widely used in oilfield and shipbuilding applications, and is also suitable for the manufacture of a variety of machined parts.
TC11 alloy tubes: commonly used to replace TC4 alloy tubes in applications requiring higher strength and corrosion resistance.
TA18 alloy tube (3Al-2.5V): with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, it is widely used in high-performance titanium alloy products such as bicycle frames.
Titanium tubes are categorized according to processing technology
Seamless titanium tubes: manufactured by advanced hot extrusion or other seamless molding processes, with excellent mechanical properties, widely used in areas requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
Welded titanium tubes: mainly used in industrial water treatment, desalination, nuclear power plants and other fields, usually used to manufacture large piping systems. Welded titanium pipes have good connecting properties and are suitable for the construction of long pipelines.
Billets and finished tubes
Tube billets (hot extruded tubes): used as raw material for the production of finished tubes, also used for the manufacture of tube targets (pure titanium) for vacuum coating. Common specifications include:
89×6mm
70×7mm
45×3mm
Finished tubes: processed titanium tubes for various engineering and industrial uses, common specifications include:
(70-89)×6mm
(40-70)×7mm
(20-45)×3mm
