Customized processing of titanium products
The processing of customized titanium products usually involves a number of steps, including material selection, design, precision machining and surface treatment.
1. Demand Analysis and Material Selection:According to your use environment (such as temperature, corrosive media, etc.), the specific grade of titanium alloy (such as pure titanium, Ti-6Al-4V, etc.) is determined to ensure that the material can meet specific applications. Different industries and products have different requirements for materials. For example, medical devices require highly biocompatible titanium materials, while aerospace pays more attention to the strength and weight of materials.
2. Design and Engineering Confirmation:Confirm the structural design and technical specifications of the product to ensure that the design drawings meet customer requirements.
3. Precision Machining:Our technicians use advanced designs to cut titanium, usually using water jet cutting, milling, tapping and other steps.
4. Surface Treatment:The titanium surface after processing may have an oxide layer or impurities, and it needs to be treated by pickling, electrolytic polishing or sandblasting to improve the surface finish. Then different colors can be customized according to needs to make the product more wear-resistant and aesthetically pleasing.
5. Quality Inspection:Before the delivery of titanium products, common inspection methods include dimensional measurement, ultrasonic flaw detection, X-ray inspection and surface roughness testing.
